About to go paintballing for a work event, stag/hen do, or a birthday party?
Going paintballing for the first time is a thrilling experience that you’re unlikely to ever forget.
Since the 90’s, there has been a lot of controversy in paintball concerning the term “Sniper”. For years, many players outright said there is no such thing as a paintball sniper. And yet, most of us who have played will admit. There have been games where we were out on the field, and a single shot rang out. You feel the paint hit you and look down and see the mark. Yet, you have NO clue where it was fired from! You raise your hand and leave the match and in your mind you know… You just got “snipered” by someone who is adept at stealth, has great shooting skills and more importantly, they outwitted and outlasted you in that match, and it makes your hair stand up on the back of your neck just thinking about it.
Magfed is taking the paintball community by storm. I’ve been seeing magfed grow by leaps and bounds. What is it about limiting your ability to shoot paint that draws so many players to this style play? And can you still play magfed even if there are no “magfed only games” in your area?
I’ve been playing paintball for a decade now, and when I started (outlaw in my backyard with friends) we didn’t know much of the “common knowledge” about paintball. So we tried things and figured out how to play in the conditions we experienced, as my players and I were available to play in the fall, winter and spring. Living in the Midwest, we get COLD winters. I use the Farmer’s Almanac which has been great at predicting the weather for our games. But, we would often play in severe cold. Temperatures as low as 5°F, Brrrr! But, our favorite times to play are during a massive snow storm!
"You only use two pistols?"
I'm often asked that question. Yes, I only use two pistols, sometimes three if you consider my Sarge Kit a pistol. I've been using pistols since I started playing paintball in 2008. I've owned all types of pistols and used them in all types of environments.
After being told how cool this event was for many years now, it was great to hear from Tippmann and GI Sportz that they wanted me to head to NC and rep their awesome gear at one of North America’s staple scenario events called Fulda Gap. Amazing action with some of the coolest ballers around! So glad I finally got to go and here is a tidbit about the game, event, and the facility that is Command Decision!

This past April I had the privilege to be able to play with over a hundred of the North East, Canada, South East even as far as Colorado for a two day MagFed event. For me this was a little more special at this event I would be playing with my best friend and team mate Fredy Palacio. We are both Marine Corps veterans and paintball has always been a great way for us to get together
In paintball there is nothing more exciting than taking a stock marker and upgrading it into the perfect marker for you. Tippmann markers have always been known for their durability and upgradeability. With so many upgrades available on the market today, it is easy to get lost in the confusion.
