New FT-50 Rental marker
Tippmann is excited to launch a new .50 Cal marker. The FT-50 utilizes the same design of the popular FT-12 with a flip top, tool-less design but with new internals and barrel for .50 Cal games. There are many advantages to .50 cal games including a lower weight, less impact and less mess to clean. When the FT-50 is fully loaded with paint, the smaller hopper still carries over 300 paintballs but the overall weight is much lighter. It also provides a lower impact force that will appeal to younger players.
The flip-top design makes rental maintenance easy and quick. Compared to .68 caliber paint, .50 caliber paint has lower cost, takes less storage space, and results in less paint to clean. All of these aspects of the FT-50 will ultimately contribute to the bottom line of a field.
The FT-50 comes complete with a smaller .50 cal hopper and will be sold at the same price as the FT-12 rental.
New harnesses and vests
In addition to these major new products, we expanded our soft good lines with new harnesses and vests, have new colors for the recently launched Cronus and Crossover XVR markers and Intrepid goggle. There are also new accessories including folding sights and the folding vertical handle used on the TCR Magfed marker.
Expanded events and new TiPX challenge
On the marketing front, Tippmann’s grass roots program has been expanded with over 100 events sponsored worldwide with Greg Hastings joining the Tippmann team at many events. The TiPX Pistol Challenge has gone global and now involves ten countries with the finals being held at the Tippmann World Challenge at Hell Survivors in Pinckney, MI.
The magfed entries will be available later this year but will be showcased at many events this spring. All other items will be available this spring.
