This past April I had the privilege to be able to play with over a hundred of the North East, Canada, South East even as far as Colorado for a two day MagFed event. For me this was a little more special at this event I would be playing with my best friend and team mate Fredy Palacio. We are both Marine Corps veterans and paintball has always been a great way for us to get together
Originally a manufacturer of collectible, half-scale replica machine guns, family-owned Tippmann entered the paintball industry in 1986 when gun law changes forced them to re-evaluate their business.
At the time, the Tippmann's were afraid that paintball was just a passing fad that would have about as much staying power as the hula hoop. But it seemed like a natural transition for the company anyway. After all, they knew how to make guns, and paintball markers shared the same basic principles as the machine guns they were manufacturing.
Tippmann Introduces New Tactical Markers; Year-End Promotion
On the heels of introducing the exciting Crossover XVR, Tippmann is pleased to announce an aggressive new rollout plan that encompasses: two new markers, a new goggle, an update for the TiPX paintball pistol, and a rebate program designed to deliver savings to players while increasing foot traffic to paintball retailers during the upcoming holiday shopping season.
With the popularity of the Tippmann TiPX many people (myself included) have started customizing their pistols to make them fit their play style. There is even a TiPX owners group on Facebook.
